Discover the incredible story behind the ancient ruins of Pompeii, then explore some of the picturesque villages of the Amalfi Coast and Capri, with the clear, turquoise waters of the Mediterranean sea as a backdrop. It’s the perfect holiday for honeymooners or anyone who can’t get enough of Italy's fine food, luxurious hotels and romantic landscapes.
The trip begins with a private tour of the ruins of Pompeii – where time stopped in 79 AD after the eruption of Vesuvius submerged people, buildings and roads in lava and ashes and preserved them for centuries to come. Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997, Pompeii enables travellers to completely immerse themselves in a fascinating chapter in the history of ancient Rome. The objects and buildings that lay preserved beneath the lava provide an extraordinarily detailed insight into the life of a major city of the Roman Empire – an experience which will stay with you forever.
You will then be taken to one of the three gems of the Amalfi Coast: Sorrento, Positano or Amalfi, for a four-night stay at a glamorous seaside resort. Our favorite hotel in Amalfi is the Convento Grand Hotel, which is set in a former 13th century monastery with views over the Amalfi Coast. We have also hand-picked a few other hotels that guarantee the best views and the best experience.
During your stay you will be able to choose between several exclusive activities, such as boat tours, hiking or relaxing at one of the hotels’ private beaches. We also highly recommend that you take our signature Amalfi Coast tour, where a chauffeur-driven Mercedes will whisk you along the stunning coastline and on to an exclusive lunch in a Michelin-starred restaurant.
But the magic is not over yet. Your private driver will pick you up in the evening and take you to a very special place, nestled on the hills and overlooking Capri, where you will enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world. The evening will continue with fine food carefully prepared by a Michelin-starred chef.
After four nights in this tranquil paradise, a private boat will meet you at the port and take you to the beautiful island of Capri, famous throughout the world for its awe-inspiring landscapes and upscale beach resorts. Wander the streets around the lively central square - known as ‘La Piazzetta’ - and splash out on hand-crafted sandals and fragrances created by locals from the Carthusia perfume factory. After shopping, cool off with a refreshing glass of local Limoncello, and savour the region’s flavours at an outdoor cafe before you sail off into another beautiful sunset.
The following day we will take you on our signature boat trip to the Blue Grotto, an amazing sea-cave filled with a celestial light that glimmers off the surface of its crystal-clear, blue waters.
We also suggest that you stroll along the coastal path to the Faraglioni Rocks, an iconic trio of rocks that rise up out of the sea, within meters of the island’s Southern Coast.
After three nights on Capri, your private boat will pick you up at the port and take you on to Naples. Our local expert will show the city's hidden gems. In the evening you will discover the authentic Neapolitan pizza in one of the town’s historic pizzerias.
The day after that your private driver will meet you at your hotel and take you to the airport. You are now ready to leave Italy with a bag full of incredible memories that you can savour forever!
What a better way to feel the sensation of the land and the dolce vita than to step into an antique double-ended fishing boat and sail round the Amalfi coastline to Positano. During the trip you will experience and discover fascinating places that can only be seen from sea like the Conca dei Marini, Furore (unique Italian fjord), Sophia Loren’s villa and an antique monastery where the world famous ‘Neapolitan’ puff-pastry was created.
If you are lovers of nature and like long walks the trail of Gods is ideal for you, while if you are culinary addicts there are many places worth just the visit. Book through us and you will be sure of eating at all of them.
Discover the Island of Capri. Take the funicular and go to the heart of the town. Mingle through the narrow streets, be tempted by the local craftsmen and finish your tour with the stunning view and incomparable beauty of Punta Tragara. You can then take a well-earned rest over an express coffee or traditional Italian ice-cream in the main square. A magical location to see and be seen.
